FAQ
What is your typical process for a new project?
Every project starts with a conversation. We’ll first get on a call so I can understand your goals, your users, and what success looks like for you. From there, I’ll provide a clear timeline. During the build phase, I work in short iterations, meaning you’ll get regular updates and working demos to play with, so you’re never left in the dark wondering what I’m up to.
Do you only build from scratch, or can you take over an existing project?
I do both! While I love architecting scalable apps from the ground up, I’m also very comfortable diving into existing projects. It can be Laravel application that needs refactoring, a WordPress site that’s running painfully slow, or a half-finished project that needs to be completed, I can audit the existing code and get things back on track.
How much do you charge, and how do you bill?
It really depends on the scope and complexity of the project. For well-defined, discrete projects (like building a specific MVP or a custom WordPress theme), I prefer to offer a fixed project rate. That way, you know exactly what your investment will be upfront with no surprise hourly overages. For ongoing maintenance, or open-ended development, I offer flexible monthly retainers so you always have my full dedication ready on standby.
Do you provide ongoing support after the project launches?
Absolutely. I offer ongoing maintenance packages where I handle server monitoring, security patching, database backups, and general technical support. If you want to handle things internally, I also provide thorough documentation and training so your team can take the reins confidently. I never hand over the keys and disappear.
I’m not very technical. Will you handle the server and hosting setup?
Yes, 100%. I handle the entire deployment process, from setting up the cloud infrastructure or VPS, to configuring your domain, SSL certificates, and automated CI/CD pipelines etc. so you can focus entirely on running your business.
How long does a typical project take to complete?
A custom WordPress/WooCommerce build usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks, while a complex Laravel/React web application or SaaS platform can take anywhere from 2 to 4 months depending on the feature set. Once we have our initial discovery call and agree on the scope, I will give you a firm, realistic timeline we can work with.
